well darn…I thought I recorded a journal today! I must be losing it! :) Today, I have been SLIGHTLY under the weather (It’ll be gone as soon as the excedrin kicks in though, don’t worry!) so my appitite has been very easy to control! LOL. I cooked dinner, some cabbage soup, but I’m not hungry for it yet. In the meantime, I still have to hit the gym, which I think I’ll do as soon as I shut up here! I thought all day about NOT mentioning this, but I figured I may as well. HEAVY SIGH!!!! lol (I’ll just leave out the details!). I am going to do all that is in my power to reach my weight goal by February 14th. I think that’s a great Valentine’s Day gift to myself! It’s only a couple of pounds…I know I know…but do you realize how long it’s been since I’ve been trying to lose it?! Holy Moly!!! My husband and I have a big company trip coming up in March, and I’d just love it if I had all this extra weight behind me. It’s one of those events where we have to “suit and tie” it up. I usually go out and buy a new evening gown for the occassion, too! That part is fun!! I’m happy because we’re having it back at our old location in Monterey Calif. Last year, due to the expanding company growth and rise in costs, the company thought it would be better to have it held in Santa Barbara. Although, the area was really unique with historical value, and very quaint…it just wasn’t the same! At least when we’re in Monterey, we can walk the pier and eat fresh clam chowder. the sea air, the otters, the crashing waves that come in with the rising tide every night (the hotel is actually OUT about 20-30 feet over the ocean!). It’s so beautiful! we even do some wine tasting on the trip, and eat at restaurants SO FANCY, the bill is over $300 for each person!! For the golfers in the group, Monterey has some of the finest courses in Cali…from what I hear. (I hate golf! I even hate miniature golf! LOL) So anyway, I’d like my evening gown to fit perfectly this year! The only way that’s going to happen, is to do some serious CRUNCH TIME! It seems like every month this year after March, something is going on in which I need to be at my goal weight!! I won’t go into that now…let’s just say that I don’t have much more time to waste! Let’s get diets are alot of fun when you have a purpose, huh??

What happened to the brains of people in the past three decades? I don’t really know, but in the 21st century it has become apparent to me that more and more people are starting to see the magic in nature, which by the way, has been available all of the time. Nature definitely isn’t going away. The good news is the majority of people today are using nature once again as a teacher. Here is what I mean….

I know it is a no brainer but how hard is it to figure it out? What we put in our bodies, IS the fuel in our cells. Our cells performance is optimized by the fuel quality. Our bodies never EVER fail to tell us what it likes and what it doesn’t like. Rejected fuel is recognized in these by symptoms and effects; Vomiting, Coughing, Poor Immune systems functions, FAT, poor mood, sadness, lethargic, loss of desires, loss of strength, increased stress to the body, and thats just the tip of the long list of effects of putting crap in your body.

The long list of natures greatest fuels are available everyday to everyone who is in a position to choose crap fuel instead of High Performance Fuels. Nature provides for everyone! It is up to the individual to use what nature provides. To do things like prevent cancer, one must not accelerate it. Prevention is to stop or keep from doing the things that cause it.

In past decades, the push in the in United States has been to Invade our bodies with surgery, and to pile so much chemical substance into our bodies systems to shut down the communications between your body and soul. The result is always the same. Our bodies never reject a fuel in the form of health and happiness.

Did you know that there no other creature on this earth that has the ability to smile beside humans? We have that magnificent choice, and yet so many choose to frown and willingly put fuel in their bodies to give them reason to.

There is a big difference between a pharmacist and a scientist. A pharmacist studies how to manipulate nature and a scientist studies the unchangeable truth of nature.

You do not have to know what nature is, you just have to be smart enough to use it to help you live.

I like the way that Bob Proctor said it in the movie The Secret.

He said, “I don’t know how electricity works but I do know this; you can use electricity to cook a man’s breakfast and you can also use electricity to cook the man!”

There is so much out in the market today to maximize your health, and while so many people have become smarter, like choosing to stop putting smoke in their lungs, just like I did 8 years ago, there are still people that ask “Does this stuff work?”

If you want to be in control of your life, you must adjust your mind set to accept nature as truth.

Happiness and health do not come from Ignore-ance. Recognize your greatness, claim your happiness, and start doing something different if you don’t like the current results you are getting.

I started increasing my life’s length instantly the day I decided to! It doesn’t matter what you do to improve, just so long as you improve.

I kind of want to try the new Dr Pepper flavor, even though as a kind of general rule I don’t like that soda. But come on, cherry chocolate? it sounds good, at least. I’m sitting here drinking a Vanilla Coke right now, and it’s still good, but I dunno… chocolate coke sounds pretty darn good, man. My knee gave out earlier when my boyfriend came to pick me up at my mom’s. I’ve been expecting it, so I managed to catch myself on my other leg, which is lucky (I’ve had a lot of experience falling and catching myself. My nickname is actually Grace - from both my mother AND my mother in law. And my mother in law didn’t know about it until after I cracked up the first time I heard her say it.) So, my knee hurts a bit. More to straighten out than anything else, but at least it isn’t swelling. Hopefully by tomorrow it’ll be fine, cuz I have to do another mile. But hey, at least it’s only a mile, right? (At least I managed to get my 2 1/2 miles in today, cuz if I hadn’t, I sure as hell wouldn’t be doing them now that my knee hurts!) I’ve noticed that since I started moving around more (even though I don’t count most of it as exercise) my stomach has turned from firm fat (where it was obviously fat, but solid and didn’t jiggle much) to jiggly jello fat. Which is disgusting. And it only motivates me more to get rid of it, although it also makes me kind of want to cry.
