I’m so proud of my control during my out-of-town business trip this week. I ate at our hotel breakfast buffet every day, ate at country buffets, a steakhouse, and Applebees. I never cheated once although folks were teasing me with their pecan pie and cakes! I even went down to the hotel gym and worked out on the treadmill and weight machines. I’ve been traveling for 4 years and that’s a first! I’m glad I had a laptop with me so I could check in every day and diet calendar. It helped me stay on track. I had a Dr’s appt today and I have lost 12 lbs since he saw me about 4 weeks ago. He was impressed and I was very proud of myself.

Another GREAT day just about behind me…The way things are looking I’ll have a loss to record on Saturday morning…I continue to step on the scales daily…so I can keep a close eye on my progress…I don’t get upset when it doesn’t go down…but if it goes up a bit…I make adjustments and do what I have to do to maintain…and then move on to the downward trend again….Had an awesome workout at the gym…and I KNOW I’m well on my way to my goal weight. What makes a HUGE difference to me is EVERYONE here…your supportive words, encourangement, advice and tips you have to pass along…I’m not sure what I’d do without you all…There is SOOOOO much inspiration here….people reaching goals and maintaining, mini goals are close for some, others have passed their mini goals and reset to the next one….All showing what can be accomplished if we really want it…..We CAN all do this together….Huggies Deb
