Ok, so I realized that my husband is smarter than he looks. My 6′3″, 175lb husband has said to me on more than one occasion “honey, if you want to lose weight, why don’t you just eat less?”. I’ve always responded with a dirty look and something along the lines of “it’s just not that simple”. Well, I kind of realized something today: why can’t it be that simple? I’m going around making this damn weight loss so complicated, trying this way and that way of spreading out my points, when it’s really just all in my head. If I eat less points, the weight will come off. It’s a mathematical certainty. Soooo…that’s my new approach. I’ve faced the fact that I have a food addiction problem (and if you’re on this site, you do, too, to a certain degree), and I know that if my husband can overcome his addiction (that’s a whole ‘nother blog altogether), so can I. I’m making sure that I eat at least 18pts per day, because I know that anything less is unhealthy, but other than that, I’m just going to eat the least amount possible and remind myself that 90% of this is in my head. I mean, do I want this or don’t I?
