Last night, I had a go at a Jillian Michaels cardio DVD - Fit & Fab.  While it’s probably targetted more at younger girls (she says, at the grand old age of 27), I was intrigued by the prospect of a hip-hop cardio workout.

 What I discovered, though, was that I am far more unco-ordinated than previously suspected.  Even after the well-paced learning process and going through the routine some 12 times in total, I still hadn’t grasped most of it, and ended up in fits of giggles on the floor when I’d almost knocked myself out for the fourth time…

I’ll give it another go next week, but I’m starting to suspect that hip-hop cardio just isn’t for me.  I love to dance, but my training was in latin, and this is just completely unfamiliar territory - I’m not a good enough dancer to pick up this style before I get frustrated!

So now I need some other fun cardio suggestions, that I can do in my garage.  Any thoughts, anyone?
