With Medifast, you can eat your meals every two to three hours. It is important to develop a schedule, allotting specific times for eating your meals so that you can maximize the efficiency of the diet program. But don’t worry if you miss a meal because if you miss one, just eat the rest of your meals closer together so that you can get all the required meals in before the end of the day. It is very important that you don’t skip meals. You might think that skipping meals would help you lose weight but it doesn’t. That’s because skipping meals will put you below the optimal nutrient level that your body needs to function and decrease in your nutrient balance actually makes your body conserve energy. As a result, your body will lose weight slower not faster. Even if you’re not hungry, it’s important to eat all of your Medifast meals to ensure a proper intake of calories and nutrients.
