In one week, I lost one month’s progress. I feel pretty terrible. I won’t whine about it though, or try and make excuses. One thing I did learn from this one week is that weight comes back on immediately… I think I put on about a half pound for every meal I cheated. Sweets, pastry, wine, fried starchy things. All in the name of regional specialties. I felt tired and sluggish the entire trip, to boot! It is NOT worth it! Back to strict stage I and daily exercise. I also feel kind of sick, and I need a detox. My body is screaming for vegetables! Time to treat myself with some respect. The first thing I am going to do is to get this stuff cleared out of my system with an all veggie day.
