Wow ! Well are are home from our weekend away. We changed our minds at the last minute and got an awesome deal once again on Travel Zoo ! I just LOVE that site ! I now have earned VIP Status with them and get the deals before anyone else Love that ! Ended up getting a room at the elegant Fairmont in Sonoma for 169 for a KING size suite with Tub, 2 drinks at the hotel bar ( yes you guessed it went off the wine wagon this weekend ) and also 2 tickets to the spa ! Awesome Deal. Normal rate for our room was 629.00 A NIGHT. First of all while it was nice to get away and it was a very nice place, I wouldn’t stay there again. You drive through the elegant town square of Sonoma then once leaving there you end up going through a pretty questionable part of town. Anyhow, to make a long story short we had a great time and had alot of fun, espeically since it was a non stress weekend.
Of course upon arriving home my hubby takes off to do some ” more shopping ” GRRR.. this kind of stuff drives me nutso ! So you guessed it, today I headed out for a ” few ” more things. Why do we do this ??? I just went to the grocery store and I thought one of the women was going to take me down to the ground for the last bag of White chocolate chips ! Good gosh !!! So here I sit with a zillion of bags all over the counters ready to be put away and start in with ny holiday baking so I can start making the rounds tomorrow with all my hand baked goodies ! This year I’ve really added some things to the mix and I’ll post them all when I get a chance ! This is the last Hurah before starting in on the straight and narrow !!!
I am awaiting several packages from UPS that were shipped DAYS ago, of course the last time my UPS man was here he witnessed me doing the downward dog from behind via the window ! OMG ! Talk about Flipping BEAT RED.. I kept our front property gates closed for 2 days after that ! LOL. I think he was as surprised as I was ! LOL…
Wow, I see I am getting a few more readers ! I was starting to think no one was out there listening to me ! LOL… What I have decided to do, is once I get my Low Fat Weight Loss Meal Plan done ( still working on it ) I am going to take all my readers, enter them into a drawing and draw a certain amount of winners who will get the diet menu along with the recipes etc. So be sure to sign up as I’m not sure when I will be doing the drawing. This will be a menu complete with shopping list and you will take one afternoon ( say a Sunday ) do some cooking and freezing and you will have menu’s at a FRACTION Of the cost of diet meal delivery services, such diet-to-go , etc… I have done them all :) Some of the things on the menu will be Chicken Pizza, Baked Salmon, Meatloaf Sub, Omelets and More !
